Benchmark Functional Fitness Foundations
This class is designed to teach you the fundamentals of strength training and barbell technique in a small group setting or private upon request. This class will focus on preparing the athlete for entering a group class with confidence and not feeling intimated, but eager to participate.
What to expect?
In this program, we focus on proper technique, safetly and understanding how the class works.
You will learn:
-Barbell Fundamentals (squat, deadlift, press and olympic lifting basics)
-Dumbell and kettlebell movements
-Bench press technique and safety
-Proper form and injury prevention
-Basic gymnastic skills (pull ups, toes to bar, ring rows, handstand, etc)
-How to modify and scale movements
Prerequisites
No fitness experience is necessary. Book a Benchmark Foundations Intro Class, and we'll take care of the rest. Class sizes are limited to ensure personalized training.
